James R. Devine:
Jim Devine is a founder and Chairman and CEO of Hipereon, Inc., a national financial consulting and training firm for financial institutions specializing in providing services to financial institutions to support their commercial business credit underwriting and credit administration functions. Hipereon also provides a range of financial consulting and training services to businesses throughout the country.
Mr. Devine has trained thousands of lenders, bank and credit union state and federal regulators, business owners and accountants throughout the U.S. and abroad. For more than 35 years, Mr. Devine has been active in managing, financing, and buying and selling closely held businesses.
He has been a faculty member of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, the Graduate Banking School at the University of Wisconsin and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a co-creator and lead faculty member for the California Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and the Oregon Banker’s Association Commercial Lending Institute.
Mr. Devine is a co-creator and lead faculty member for the CUES – School of Business Lending and the CUES Graduate Schools of Business Lending.
Mr. Devine co-authored Risk Management Associates, formerly known as Robert Morris Associates’ “Understanding Your Small Business Customer” training series and facilitated their national small business round tables on managing business banking practices.
Mr. Devine holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Montana and a MBA from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national scholastic honorary society for business school graduates.
